HTTP Status Checker
Check the status code and response time for a list of URLs.
The check could not be completed

| URL | Status | Redirects | Final URL | Time |

A URL that cannot be checked is reported on its own row with the reason, so one bad address does not hide the rest of the results.
What This Tool Does
The status checker requests a list of URLs and reports the status code, the final address, and the response time for each one. It is built for checking a batch after a deployment or a sitemap export.
How to Use It
Paste one URL per line, up to the limit shown next to the field, then run the check. Each row reports its own result, so one failure does not hide the rest.
How the Tool Calculates or Retrieves Data
Each URL is requested from this website's server with a short timeout. Redirects are followed so the table can show the final destination, and the response time measures the complete request rather than time to first byte.
Understanding Your Results
A 200 with no redirect is the expected result for a page you want indexed. Anything in the 3xx range means the URL you supplied is not the final one, and 4xx or 5xx needs attention before search engines revisit.
Frequently Asked Questions
The limit is shown beside the input field and is set by the site administrator, because each URL is a separate outbound request.
Some servers block requests that do not come from a browser, or respond differently to a request without cookies. A 403 with a working page in your browser usually means a bot filter is involved.
