What This Tool Does
Competitor Research finds domains that rank for the same keywords as your site, then compares your site with one competitor: shared terms, terms they rank for that you do not, terms only you rank for, and some of their highest-visibility pages.
How to Use It
Enter your domain or choose a project that already has one. Optionally list up to three competitor domains. If you leave that list blank, the first discovered competitor is used for the gap.
- Google is required. Other engines are rejected with an explanation.
- Shared-keyword “lead” is only labelled when both positions were supplied.
How the Tool Calculates or Retrieves Data
Competing domains and intersections come from Searqo’s connected ranking-metrics services. Usage is recorded once per run even though several Labs calls may be needed. Cached repeats do not spend another credit.
Understanding Your Results
A competitor list is not a judgement of quality. It is overlap in ranking keywords according to the database. Positions can differ from what you see in a browser because the check is not personalised.
Frequently Asked Questions
Competitor overlap lives in a keyword database, not in a single result page. Without that connection the tool cannot produce real overlap figures, and it will not invent them.
The database returned the keyword but not both ranks, so Searqo cannot say who leads.
No. Rank Tracking checks one keyword for your page. This tool compares domain-level keyword overlap from Labs data.
